The NuGrout Recoloring Kit has everything you need to transform your grout. The kit includes: 1 NuGrout Colorant and Sealer 8 oz bottle, 1 NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat 8 oz bottle, 1 application tool, 1 cellulose sponge, and 1 pair of latex gloves.

Description

The NuGrout Recoloring Kit is a prepackaged system containing NuGrout Colorant and Sealer, NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat and application accessories. The NuGrout Recoloring Kit comes in standard colors, most grout manufacturers colors, or any color desired.

Application Notes

  • NuGrout Recoloring Kit is a system of products that work together to provide long-lasting, professional-quality results.
  • If using more than 1 bottle of a single color for an application, mix all material together in a larger container prior to use to ensure color is consistent.
  • Sealing porous tile may be required prior to application to ensure colorant is not absorbed into the tile.
  • For best results, apply in two coats (waiting 2-4 hours drying time between coats).

NuGrout Colorant and Sealer Drying Time

  • Dries tack-free in 30 min.
  • Recoat after 2-4 hours.
  • Final cure after 24 hours for normal traffic.
  • Final cure after 72 hours for heavy traffic.

Handling and Storage for Both NuGrout Colorant and NuGrout Cleaner

  • Always follow product safety guidelines during storage and use (reference product SDS for complete details).
  • Close cap on container after each use.
  • Store product in original container only.
  • Product shelf life is 36 months when unopended and stored at room temperature.
  • Use only when surface temperatures are between 50° F – 90° F (10° C – 32° C).

Stain Resistance

When properly applied, NuGrout Colorant and Sealer seals the grout joint to resist the penetration of household stains, dirt and grime. Proper maintenance and sanitation using household cleaners is still necessary. Avoid use of harsh chemicals and acids when cleaning.

Mold and Mildew Resistance

When properly applied, NuGrout Colorant and Sealer inhibits the growth of surface mold and mildew. Proper maintenance and cleaning is still necessary because microbes can grow on other surface substances, such as soap scum, dirt and grime.

    NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat is a potent phosphoric acid-based concentrated cleaner used to remove dirt, soap scum, rust stains and mildew from ceramic tile grout. The product also lightly etches grout to prepare an ideal bonding surface for NuGrout Colorant and Sealer.

    The product will typically cover approximately 10 – 35 sq ft per oz (300 – 1000 cm2 per mL) at full strength. Amount needed may vary greatly depending on the condition of the grout.
