Products

NuGrout Colorant and Sealer is part of a system that works together to provide long-lasting, professional-quality results. It is highly recommended that NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat be used to properly clean and prepare grout surfaces prior to the application of NuGrout Colorant and Sealer.

Sealing of porous tile may be required prior to application to ensure colorant is not absorbed into the tile.

Use of NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat may not be necessary when using colorant to correct or change the color of a brand new, unsealed grout installation. Test colorant on a small area for proper penetration and adherence prior to use.

Yes! NuGrout Cleaner and Pretreat is a concentrate, which can be diluted with water up to 100%, especially if surface to be cleaned is only slightly soiled. Always test strength on a small, inconspicuous area prior to use.

Yes! When properly applied, NuGrout Colorant seals the grout joint to resist the penetration of household stains, dirt and grime, so no additional grout sealer is needed. Proper maintenance and sanitation using household cleaners is still necessary. Avoid use of harsh chemicals and acids when cleaning.

When properly applied, NuGrout Colorant and Sealer inhibits the growth of surface mold and mildew. Proper maintenance and cleaning is still necessary because microbes can grow on other surface substances, such as soap scum, dirt and grime.

NuGrout Colorant is applied to the grout surface, then worked deeply into the grout using a good quality brush, such as the NuGrout Application Tool. Reference Application Instructions for more details.

If there is only light staining and a small difference in color change, you may only need one coat of NuGrout Colorant. For heavier-stained grout and/or a larger degree of color transformation, two or more coats may be necessary (waiting 2-4 hours drying time between coats). Test a small area prior to full application to determine your desired results.

NuGrout Colorant dries tack-free after 30 minutes and is ready for a second coat after 2-4 hours (depending upon climate conditions). The product is ready for light foot traffic after only 2-4 hours, normal foot traffic after 24 hours, and heavy, commercial traffic after only 72 hours. Allow up to 72 hours drying time for areas subjected to high humidity.

Yes! NuCaulk is has a siliconized acrylic formula that can be used to seal around sinks, countertops, showers, tub surrounds, windows, trim, doors, siding, penetrations, hardboard, flashing and more! It can also be used for exterior applications.

Yes! NuGrout and NuCaulk can be matched to any grout manufacturers colors. If you don’t see your grout manufacturer, fill out and send the form on our Custom Color Matching page and we’ll match the color that you need. Please note that since custom colors are made to order, they cannot be returned. See the Return Policy on our Terms and Conditions page for details.

Yes! NuGrout Professional and Wholesale programs are available to qualifying cleaning and restoration professionals, and wholesale distributors, accessory dealers, and retailers in the United Sates and Canada with a valid business license. Payments

All online payments are made easily and securely via our trusted and secure payment gateway upon check out. Most credit cards are accepted.

You do not have to pay sales tax unless you are in Florida. Residents of Florida must pay sales tax because this is where our warehouse and manufacturing facility is located.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping is not included in the price of the products. Shipping cost is automatically calculated when you check out. Reference our Shipping Policy for more information.

Merchandise is shipped within 24-48 hours of receipt of order for NuGrout Tools, NuGrout Pretreat and NuGrout Colorant and Sealer STANDARD COLORS, and 2-4 days for NuGrout Colorant and Sealer CUSTOM COLORS and NuCaulk ALL COLORS. Allow an average of 7 working days shipping time. Orders too large for standard carriers will be shipped the most economical way, and charged to the customer’s credit card. All orders with a shipping destination outside of the United States will have customs clearance charges added to the purchase. Any address correction done by selected carrier that results in additional charges due to customer misrepresentation on the order form will be assumed by the purchaser.

NUGROUT, INC. and our affiliates inspect and carefully pack products to ensure they are undamaged prior to releasing to the shipping carrier. Responsibility for delivering product safely and undamaged to the customer is assumed by the carrier at time of pickup. We are not responsible for the condition of the goods after the carrier has received them. Report any damages upon receipt to the carrier immediately. Any damage claims must be filed with the carrier by purchaser. If your shipment arrives damaged, you must reject the shipment and ensure the driver notes the damage. Keep original packing, document damages and take photos if needed. Involvement of NUGROUT, INC. in any dispute with a carrier is limited to verification of the order only.

We ship throughout the United States and U.S. territories, and to Canada. Shipments to Canada may require added duties and taxes.

NuGrout Tools, NuGrout Pretreat and NuGrout Colorant and Sealer STANDARD COLORS can be returned in unopened, unused Original Packaging and Condition, with the consent of NuGrout, and the issuance of a Return Authorization Number. Contact us for receive a  Return Authorization Number. Any merchandise returned without an RAN, will be refused and returned at customer’s expense. All returned merchandise is subject to a 20% restocking charge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: NuCaulk ALL COLORS and NuGrout Colorant and Sealer CUSTOM COLORS and MANUFACTURERS COLORS are made to order so they cannot be returned. If received, merchandise will be refused and returned at customer’s expense.
